“Good little known transit site while driving US 97”
Reviewed Nov 05, 2016
This is a very rustic county campground located 1/4 mile west of US 97 at the intersection of the Crescent Cutoff Road. Leave 97, drive about 1/4 mile west and take the first right. Head north about 100 yards, take the first small lane to the left and enter this rustic 10 site CG (small white metal gate). Convenient free site for those of you traveling US 97. As I said, very rustic, two old classic outhouses, two hose bibs (locked at this time of the year (November). One or two pull thrus, smaller rigs easily parked. My 31' class A fit in as long as I detached the towed. A fair amount of road noise from the Cutoff Road and Hwy 97. Possible railroad noise 1/4 away but not near as bad as at Maryhill State Park up at the WA/OR border.
