“Good basic campground close to Tri-cities and Pendleton ”

Reviewed 5/28/2018

Days stayed: 4
Site Number: F-10
Overall Rating

Overall good campground, close to Tri-cities and Pendleton. Some sites are very close/awkward to park & access with larger rigs. F10 only had neighbors on 1 side but may be difficult to get into if you have camping neighbors. Some sites do not offer patio space right outsite of your door. Partial hook up sites up the hill are a bit more spacious; P24, P23,P22, P21. Very friendly camp host, firewood for sale by the rik, and ice/ice cream for sale. 4 Private room showers and flush toilets by camp host building. Showers by donation. It appeared that some sites were lacking picnic tables. Lots of tent sites. Several vault toilet facilities. Good trout pond for kids and horse pens with trails behind camp. Overall good basic stay. Will come here again.

“Nice County Campground”

Location - In the middle of nowhere! We stopped here for one night on a trip from Joseph, OR to Bend, OR. There were mostly hunters staying here during our visit. If driving this way again we would probably stop at the Willow Creek RV Park. Not because there is anything wrong with Cutsforth, but Willow Creek is in the town of Heppner which has cell phone service and has a nice view of the Willow Creek Reservoir.

Access - Easy access directly off of Willow Creek Rd.

Cleanliness - Clean campground.

Site Quality - Mostly small to medium sites with varying degrees of levelness. We had a full hookup site.

Noise - The campground is quiet. There is some road noise from an occasional vehicle driving by on the road beside the campground.
