There isn't any shade in the sites. We were able to leave our RV hooked up -so that was nice! The restaurant is VERY good! I highly recommend the food. Hosts are very kind and friendly. I LOVED THE GRASS ON THE SITE (weird I know!!! The cell service is terrible - had to use our Starlink to make calls and do anything!

We have spent the past 2 weeks at a beautiful little campground nestled in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It was incredibly hard to find a site in the middle of summer that fit in our budget *and* was beautiful. This place hit those 2 points plus so many more. From the moment we stepped into the office to check in, we were treated like family. Welcomed with open arms and kindness not often found these days. Roger and Colleen, the couple that run the campground, have made a beautiful slice of heaven right in the middle of the Black Hills. If you’re ever headed to South Dakota, stay here. I promise you’ll love it.
And we continue our journey…

We had a nice pull through site long enough that we parked our truck in front of our 44-foot fifth wheel, and our suburban behind it and we all still fit! Power was 50/30/20 with new pedestals. We had a nice pull through site long enough that we parked our truck in front of our 44-foot fifth wheel, and our suburban behind it and we all still fit! Power was 50/30/20 with new pedestals. New gravel and green grass.
Wifi at the store was free and it worked just fine. It's in the middle of the Black Hills, so cell phones don't get much reception anywhere.
The biggest reason to come is simply the location. You're only minutes away from Deadwood, Custer State Park, Wind Caves National Park, Mount Rushmore, Rapid City, and the Crazy Horse monument.
They have a Cafe where we had breakfast two of the mornings we were there. Had some excellent pancakes the that are worth stopping for if you're driving by. If you're staying here it's a no-brainer. They have got showers and their own water filtration system.
They have a gas pump out front for filling up your ATVs and side-by-sides, and a newly renovated convenience store.
It is right off the highway, which is super convenient and not many cars go by late at night. We slept well.
This park has new ownership and a young couple managing that are doing some great things to update and renovate the park. They have big plans in the next year.

Bring your Starlink or ask for a site close to the restaurant for WiFi. There’s zero cell service.
