We were up on the top row which worked fine for us. Yes there is some road noise during the day but you really don't notice it at night. Lot's of things to do in the area. Crazy Horse is just a few miles up the road. Close to Rushmore.

Twila swept us off our feet. Campground is less than 1 mile from downtown. Safe and secure campground. Site 636 was a perfect spot for our “30 foot” class C camper. Will stay here again.

Lots of sites with good spacing and privacy. Access to the sites can be tight. But they guide you to your site.
There are cabins and tent sites as well as the RV sites. There are tree and were out of the wind. We had thunderstorms and were very protected. Our site was very quiet, but we aren’t as big as some rigs that had to stay on top near the highway.
We used the laundry. The machines are small, but clean and in working order. Bring your quarters. No change machine.
Nice place for kids. They really used the pool. And there is a billiard table. And there is enough room for quiet too.
Their WIFI is slow and they will tell you so. But there is so much to do in the area, eight days was not enough.
We’ll be back

This was a great campground with easy access to Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer. There are wooded and open sites. Sites are a great size. There is a pool and a very nice laundry facility. Would definitely recommend!

We bailed out of our boondocking spot and came here. Although we're not typically in campgrounds, we enjoyed this one. Can handle large campers/RVs in most sites. Nice camp store with coffee in the morning, popcorn, large clean laundry room, two buildings with plenty of newly remodeled showers/heads. Nice location just outside of the town of Custer. Close to Custer State Park, The Needles Scenic road, Crazy Horse Monument, MT. Rushmore and much more!!!
Friendly staff!!!
When we were there we had a few heavy downpours that rutted out the gravel drives. First thing in the morning the staff was out there regrading all the lanes!! They are very attentive to keeping everything good for their guests!!
