We stayed here for one night as we were passing through. My husband made the reservation online so when we checked in and didn’t see our Good Sam discount we asked about it. It was then we were informed that if you book online you will not be able to use any discounts! If I would have none that beforehand I would have called in. (They ... more
We stayed here for one night as we were passing through. My husband made the reservation online so when we checked in and didn’t see our Good Sam discount we asked about it. It was then we were informed that if you book online you will not be able to use any discounts! If I would have none that beforehand I would have called in. (They should put a claim on their website so we have an opportunity to call the park.)That said the lady in the office was very friendly. Our site was a PT and FHU. We had Wifi, and were close to the pool (closed for the season), playground and office. The park seems to have more permanent trailers but the front row of sites are left open for daily users.

Overall Rating
We stopped for an overnight during our travels. We had planned to make it farther but road construction from Columbia slowed us down. They were very accommodating for a last minute stay. We did not use any of the amenities, but it was perfect to pull in and disconnect for the night and be on our way in the morning.

It is quiet, but the internet is terrible. It is good for over night, but would not stay there for several days. It is also not a pretty area.

They never responded to any of my inquiries prior to the stay, including email and voicemails. We wanted to know the price per day, internet and cell phone signal strength. When we arrived, the lobby was dingy and smelled of cigarette smoke. They gave us the password for the wifi, but it wasn't connected to internet. For anyone that needs to work and stay, you cannot. Even though there is a tower nearby, the hill blocks the strength. We were getting 3mp/s signal strength for TMobile and nothing on the Verizon phone. They were nice enough to return the stay without a problem, giving us cash instead of the credit card. We were ok with that because it was immediate. Also, it looked like a good amount of people live here.
