Overview of Crystal Creek Campground

A storm came through the area on 6/12/22 causing numerous trees to fall along with significant rain and flows in the Gros Ventre River. The BTNF will be assessing the stream bank and hazard tress to determin the long term safety of the campground. Until this determination is made the Crystal Creek Campground is CLOSED.

Overall Rating

this was a 45-minute drive on a very bumpy narrow road. The campsites are right on the river but the road is on the backside so the traffic does create a lot of dust. It's a long drive but worth it if there's a spot available. There is an overflow parking area across the road.
