Looks like nice place, but in second thought it not really. Too crowded, a lot of noice of boats even night time, no cell reception. No water, stinky public toilet,

Camp host greeted me and explained all the rules, can’t beat $2.50/night if you have the senior pass, otherwise $5/night which is still a great deal. No water, but a dumpster is provided.

it was nice to be able to have a little water also the toilets used to be much cleaner and now you can barely walk in there even though there’s a host right next to it the toilets full of poop on the seat and urine looks like it hasn’t been washed or rinsed down for a long time :( The algae blooms been pretty bad everywhere else but not too bad here but there is a lot of donkey poop and the flies are pretty heavy so it does have a smell …. other than that again you get a stinky dirty toilet and place to put your trash for five bucks and you can sit on the river so at least it’s not 10 bucks! :)

The park is not far from Parker, AZ so you have easy access to shopping and water.
If you have a National Pass the price is only $2.50 per day. Nice!

Our TMoblie in site 20 was 1 bar, sometimes. The overflow is great for solar panels. This place was full everyday we were there.
One vault toilet and a dumpster. $5 or $2.50 with National park passes. No generators from 10pm-6am.

Dry camping with pit toilet & trash bin. We came in on Thursday, hoping to get a site by the river but all those were occupied. We got site 9, a pull through, under a big tamarisk tree. As you come in, turn left & it’s at the end of the campground. You can see glimpses of the river from the site. If you’re into water stuff like kayaking, swimming, there are 2 easy access, one at each end of the campground. Wild burros, group of up to 10, came down to the campground foraging, every evening. They don’t bother you unless you leave food out, including dog food. There’s not much to do at the campground. We drove to Lake Havasu City for 1 day. Other than that it’s a good place to just chill out, especially if you can camp next to the river. If you have Senior Pass it’s only 2.50 a night. A great deal!

Great site. Short gravel road in that is well marked. Beautiful views right on the river. Plenty of room without feeling isolated. Good stop between lake Havasu and indio.

There are mostly older couples that are retired staying here. There were other solo female campers here and so I felt perfectly safe. The pit toilets are a bit smelly but clean. And there is accessible water at the camp host site. No camp host was staying there though. Most sites are out in the open sun but there are dispersed trees around and if you’re lucky you might get some shade at some point during the day. There is a lot of boat traffic but they seem to quiet down at night.
