“Nice Short Stop”

Nice campground, right on the river. Two or three areas, main one, along side the river, secondary across the road to the riverside and third one, back a little ways like a parking lot. More for a "Holding Area" if riverfront is filled. When a vacancy occurs, max 14-days, mad rush to get the newly opened area. If wanting to get a river front site, prep to move in the morning when you hear someone pull out. Mainly dirt, only one real beach space, small but some nice views looking over the river. I camped at the back lot and didn't feel really motivated to move to river front for a 3-day stay. Locals, Donkeys, roam around, not a problem outside of clean ups. Can hear them but not often. Camp Host is excellant and doing an above average job, Kudos to her.
Nice to stay at, but I felt 3-4 days on the River would be enough. Road continues to the Parker Dam, no RVs, too narrow and curves. Have to go back to Parker and grab the highway on the other side, AZ, side of river. There are a lot of RV paid parks along the River too. Easy access, smaller sites along the River but enough for the Big Boys, Class As if need be.
Lousy Internet, Vzn Jetpack, about good for emails, that's about it. Surprisingly two towers near by, but Nooooo... Lousy connections, AT&T tower on other sides, might be better.
More pics here, but above pics about cover it..
