We stayed here May 30th. We picked Crooked River because of its spacing from other places on our trip north and because it had an earth cache as well as several traditional geocaches in the park. Turns out, the geocaches was icing on a very beautiful cake! We drove around past a section of road that left me wondering if we were going the right direction, and ended up with several lake front sites to chose from. The one we selected was very large, well separated, and nicely level enough for us to stay hitched up.

This park is obviously a very popular day-use park, but the day-use is on the opposite side of the lake from the camping area. We had some Google Fi connnectivity.

Dump station is $5, located on the entrance road to the campground.

This is a beautiful Provincial park that sits on the edge of Bear Lake.

Even though it’s tucked back into the trees, most sites are open with direct sunlight.

There are no hook-ups but there is a dump and fresh water.

We took the loop road down to the left. Our site was a little off front to back but for one night it’s fine. The site was very, very long.

If you come down the hill and turn to the right, there is a short distance of compacted gravel the pavement with more sites. Follow the loop around to lake front sites that are flat and long.
