Enjoyed my one night stay. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice updates and clean private restroom/shower. Some site back right up to the river. Felt very safe traveling solo. Looks like a great location for outdoor activities. Only reason I didn’t give a five star is the sites themselves were on the small side

We are going back there on Nov. 13 through the 28th and have checked all restaurants for Thanksgiving until I read the campground website and they are having a get together where everyone in the campground is invited, just sign up in office. I can't wait and we will always come back to this campground in the future. P. S. If you put some decorative potted plants where the sewer connection is then you can't tell it is there. We love Creekwood! The Pickles

The site opposite us was empty giving us a full view of the lovely Jonathan Creek, would love to fish it one day.
Two friendly guys met us when we arrived late for check in and showed us to our site, even helped guide us when backing in.
The gravel sites are packed gravel which meant very little leveling was necessary.
We didn't use any of the facilities as we were only staying for one night. Great, peaceful campground, would definitely camp here again

The RV's here are squished in tightly. Sites that look like they were originally pull through are now two sites back to back with the two trailors just a couple feet apart. The proprietor of the park actually came out and directed the parking when we arrived. There is plenty of space between RV's side to side, but depth wise is tricky - the trucks have to park sideways in front of the RV and sometimes there was barley enough room to drive through on the road. There is a lovely creek that goes through the side of the park. The sites along the river are much nicer and have fire pits. We didn't have a firepit, but did have a picnic table. We were able to refil our propane which was helpful. They had live music on Friday. Lots of decorations and lights up.

Reading other reviews, I sometimes wonder what people expect from a campground or RV park. This place has exceeded our expectations and we have only been here a few hours, staying through the 4th of July. First, the entire park is impeccably clean, well landscaped and plenty of shade. The park is easily walkable and laid out well. Gravel drives and spots are all VERY level. Didn’t even have to level our rig! We have a pull through spot, but the pull throughs will have a neighbor behind them. So, it’s only a pull through if you are the first to arrive. Big deal. If you can’t back your trailer, you may need a different hobby. The showers are fantastic. The Bear Park has a great pavilion with additional seating and seats along the creek. Nice! I will definitely try to get a spot on the creek next time. Those look nice. Finally, even though the park is right off of 276, we cannot hear any road noise as I am sitting here outside under my awning. Did not try the WiFi and with Verizon, you will not need it. Cable service is awesome with 84 channels. 15 minutes to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Some of the best hiking and sight seeing in NC here!

Small campsites. Very crowded. Gravel roads badly in need of gravel. Rained during our stay so with little to no gravel in spots, muddy mess. Nice staff but owner is not reinvesting in infrastructure.

Just be aware that if you want some privacy or space to yourself, this is not the place. Access from highway is fine, but sites are generally tight with barely space for one vehicle. Very close to your neighbors. Their “pull through” sites are only that if no one is on the site in front or behind you. WiFi ranges between 0 and 5 Mbps download - not good. Did not try cable, only PBS available via antenna.

We loved our stay at Creekwood Farm! We had site 66 right on the creek, which was perfect for afternoon/evenings sitting outside and reading. Sites are gravel (some have paved patios but are at a MUCH higher rate) and seem to be fairly level. Standard sites (other than premium) do NOT have a fire ring, which was disappointing (you could pay additional to rent a ring). The campground is super clean, incredibly quiet and overall really nice.
We did have some cons (though not enough to knock off a star in our rating).
* The WiFi is pretty non-existent (at least for us and where we were). We ended up using cellular data for most of the trip. This was a bigger issue for our teenage daughter, but it also hindered us from getting a bit of work done while there.
* The workers here insist on guiding you into your site. We are super newbies (this was only our 2nd campground), but even for us, this was kind of a pain. We appreciated their expertise, but we are trying to work out our own system for backing (and undoubtedly more experienced RVers have their own systems set), so this kind of threw us. The lady who helped was super nice and patient, but overall, this just wasn't our fave, and we noticed several folks who had some trouble with this and/or got in their spot while the worker was there to only readjust after they had left.
* There aren't many options here for kids at all, other than playing in the creek (which is lots of fun). For the amount of amenities, we thought the campground was on the pricey side, especially since they don't have Good Sam discount, etc.
* We were turned off by the no fire ring/having to rent a fire ring. Again, at the price paid, we kind of felt like a fire ring would be included.
* The sites aren't tight, but they also aren't what I would call super spacious. There is only room in front of your rig to park parallel to the road, and the road can be a bit narrow in places with people parked on both sides. Not terrible, but not super roomy, either (but again, we're newbies).
* There isn't a ton to do in the immediate area. It's about a 15-minute drive to Waynesville, 10-15 minutes to Maggie Valley and about 45 minutes to Cherokee and the National Park. The upside is that it's SUPER convenient to I-40.
It sounds like we had a lot of cons, but truly all of the above were pretty minor in the grand scheme of our stay. We loved the peaceful tranquility of the park so much! We didn't use the bathhouses, but I did pop into one as we were leaving just to wash hands, and they were impeccably clean. In fact, the entire park is pristine. We appreciated that the park workers circle regularly and that they pick up trash in the mornings. The staff were incredibly friendly as well. We won't hesitate to book here again, especially for a creekside spot.

Creekwood Farm is among the cleanest, best kept RV parks we've visited. We camped on site 64 which is a creekside site. It was beautiful, with a rock beach that we could set our chairs on and read a book while the stream babbled in the background. WiFi was decent, although difficult to access between 6-11pm (I assume due to the high volumn of folks trying to use). The bath house stayed clean and had 6 individual bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink and large vanity. Staff was friendly and helpful as were all the campers we interacted with. It seems that most of the rigs were large 5th wheels and motorhomes. The only real downside was how crowded the park was. There are a LOT of sites that are close together. Despite this, the park was very quiet and peaceful even during the day. We didn't particularly like that our picnic tables was within feet of the sewer on the neighboring site. (This seemed to be true for most sites) There is a lot to see in the area...Great Smokey Mtn. NP, Lake Junaluska, the towns of Maggie Valley and Waynesville.
