This is a nice campground but very tight to get around in. Not very well marked at the beginning either. There is a very, very tight turn before you get to the campground. Would absolutely not take a class A or a larger camper. The road is very narrow and the turn is too tight for larger rigs. It was a nice campground though and lots of trails to explore. Only some of the sites are along the creek.
I had 0 cell service on T-Mobile. Had to go into town to get a signal.
This is on Route 16 which is on the 'Back of the Dragon' and there is a spectacular view if you drive a little way up Hwy 16
The only reason we would not camp here again is the tightness of the road and campground.

We stayed in site 12, May 2021. Lovely little campground, and we loved our site, right by the creek. The creekside campsites are the nicest, followed by those close to the road. The interior sites are exposed and less desirable. Beware, the creekside sites are tight. We barely fit our 26' trailer in #12, and numerous trees made it dicey maneuvering through the campground. Any rigs 30' or longer aren't likely to fit in the creekside sites. The bathhouse is fine and showers are hot. Great wifi signal and quite fast. Friendly and helpful camp host. It was a very quiet stay, and everyone was respectful. Lots of nice hiking trails and water sports. Will definitely stay here again.

Sites are kind of small, but very quiet group on the loop made it tolerable. Bathhouses are nearly class A. Plenty of hot water & super clean. Laundry facilities also. Staff was super friendly & helpful. Lots to do! Also... camp site wifi was surprisingly good!

Check-in: poorly signed but well-staffed. Site - difficult to find with site map and very tight for a 32' rig. Sites close together in Creekside and the entrance approach was very curvy and would be impossible! for 2 RVs to pass one another along the horseshoe turns. Hungry Mother Lake looks like it should be in New England: beaches, play areas, hiking.
Close to I-81, but last mile is dodgy in a big rig. Go slow!

We have stayed here twice, once in April and once in August. Great sites especially those along the creek. B11 has a bit of a tight squeeze and would not recommend for anything bigger than 20 ft. Many sites have electric and water hook ups. Restrooms and hot showers were very clean.

We arrived mid-afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly Park Ranger. We were assigned a campground and chose a pull through level site. The park provides wifi though out the park and at our particular site was as strong as ours at home. I was wondering why it was so strong when I spotted the wifi antenna between our site and the next. The park is well maintained and filled with hiking trails for all levels. We had a very enjoyable visit once we arrived at Creekside. My only criticism is as we entered the park area we came upon what we thought was the park office only to realize this was the Burson Campground and this park office which was closed. There was no map nor sign to direct us to the Creekside Campground. We decided to continue on the main road which led us to our campground.
