The digging experience is awesome, but I'd recommend staying elsewhere and driving in to do that activity. Sites are decent, relatively close without much privacy, but the winter months they seem to shutdown all but 1 restroom area and the laundry was unavailable. Great location to the diamond digging. I agree with the previous post, it is not cheap. We did come here 12 years ago, and they have really done a great job upgrading the sites, and making them perfectly level (at least ours was). Campground is ok, no better or worse than the CoE parks close by for $16~20 ($8 with golden age/access pass). Their info online states they have "class D" (dry camp rv/tent use) for $13 and overflow for $11. Like many these days, we're invested in upgrades to our coach to have no need for any kind of e/w/s for long periods of time. We ... more
