“Nice campground inside Waterton Lakes Park”

Overall Rating

Crandall Mountain campground has reasonably spacious and private spots, and is close to major attractions inside Waterton Lakes Park. The Red Rock road to get to Crandall is great for viewing wildlife, and you can often see black bears near the road.

Crandall is dry camping, however. The full-hookups Townsite campground is in town, but is quite literally an empty field in the middle of town crammed with campers with kids running around. No thanks!
