I've been here all season ( since October 2023 ). A favorite of mine.
Love the BLM lands for riding and exploring. Great sunsets. And good community, The Why Senior Citizens Club for many activities!
Will be back in October!

To book you must call then send a check by mail to hold your spot. Sites are quite spacious. Good electrical, water pressure and sewer. No restrooms or community center. Nearest grocery store is in Ajo, 11 miles away. Very good ATT data. 4 bars 5G for T-Mobile but no data. Fantastic scenery and dark sky. I’d stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location but close to AZ highway 85. Authentic desert so be prepared to hear active wildlife at night ie coyotes, burros etc.
your rig must be fully self contained as there are no bathroom/shower facilities but the sites are full hook-ups. Town of Ajo is 10 miles away with grocery, laundromat, restaurants etc.
Will come back again for sure!!

Stayed here for two nights with our 29’ Travel Trailer. I tried calling ahead several times but never got an answer so just decided to show up. They had plenty of spaces and were able to give me a pull through spot with full hookups.
When we arrived the camp host Trinidad was very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of regulars and long term residents, but everyone was super friendly and invited us to their 5pm happy hour gathering, even with our four kids. We had a great time visiting and got some good tips on visiting the park.
There are no amenities at the park, but everyone was friendly and we felt comfortable there. They only accept cash, so make sure you’ve got enough twenties to cover your stay.
