Overall Rating

I came here because I thought it was free, it is not. $20/nite for non-NV residents. Here during middle of week so it's quiet with many available spots. Looks like a fun vacation spot for families on the weekend

Overall Rating

The reservoir and the mountains provide nice views, and good breezes even on a hot July day. However, the campground is basically a narrow parking lot along the shore with trailers stacked end to end, running old, loud generators, with very, very little space between most of the sites. We camped here in June of 2021 in a 40’ Motorhome. With the Nevada State Parks Pass you can dry camp on the south shore of the lake for free. The 25 site developed campground on the North side is up on a hill with good lake views, but no easy water access.
