Quiet relaxing campsite situated in the middle of the National Forest. We had no trouble parking our 26 foot class C but as others said the road in the campground could be more difficult in the rain. I would scope this out before bringing a larger rig; there is a place to park an RV/disconnect before turning onto the campground road. A clean (toilet paper stocked) pit toilet is located here. Pack in/out normal National Forest rules. ATV’s are allowed on trails May 1st though January 1st which would ruin the experience for us. We will stop here again next time we are in the area to hike more trails.

Free little hunters camp in Kisatchie National Forest with pit toilets and easy access to multiple hiking, horse riding and ATV trails. Stayed here during early 2019, would stay here again. Posted a link to my blog for a full review.

I camped in a tent-- it's great for tent camping because the ground is level, with few rocks and roots sticking up.
