We stayed here for one night before heading into the national park. The campground was only 25% full for a Sunday in July. We quickly chose site 24 as we were tired and hungry. It was close to the water and extremely buggy. We chose not to sit outside because of the bugs. If we had to do it again, we’d pick a site further from the water. The sites are not paved and not clearly distinguished so you are free to park anyway you see fit. Once we got settled, it was a long walk back to the fee station to pay. There were no amenities. $20 a night for this location seemed a little high after paying less at other campgrounds with amenities. If we had paddle boards or kayaks, it would’ve been more enjoyable.

Site 1 is away from the rest of the sites. It was quiet and there was a table and fire pit. The site was slightly un-level, but not too bad. Cell phone signal was hit and miss with T-Mobile

Love green MTN res. Very hard to get reservations since it's so popular, and I highly recommend the beach side campground and not the upper loops as there's no shade and beach access is harder. Cell coverage exists but no lte with any carrier, so you can't work from there (we were planning on it but left Sunday evening instead).

No wood sold at campground, which is odd. Dusty & dry, but great views.

Very nice spot about forty minutes north of Silverthorne. Vault toilets and trash cans but no potable water. Potable water available for 25 cents per 20 gallons about 20 minutes north In Kremmling as well as a nice grocery store and gas station. Last dump station is in Silverthorne. Definitely would come back.
