Covered Wagon Camp Resort

This campground was probably very nice at one time. Unfortunately it’s not been well maintained. There are multiple long term campers that have also been poorly maintained. The staff are not friendly. There is a large pond that has separate areas for swimming and fishing. The pond was just gross. There are old, dirty porta pottys that appeared unsafe to use. I believe they mark these porta pottys on the map as an actual restroom facility. The playground equipment is very old and outdated, again poorly maintained. The campsites were small and gravel. My particular site was full of old cigarette butts. I came in to the campground with an open mind but was very disappointed. I originally booked our stay for two nights but left after just one.
