Overall Rating
It is primitive camping, but you’re provided with an outstanding gazebo! This is a sportsman's paradise if you like fishing and water sports.
One of our nights there, we did have a lot of helicopter noise from the nearby Air Force base at Mountain Home. I t was reminiscent of Apocalypse Now, we expected to hear Ride of the Valkaries coming from the helicopters! But it was still kind of cool.
Cell phone reception is poor. Some of the spots will accommodate larger rigs, but a couple things to consider:
1) The road in is fairly short dirt road, but it will rattle your fillings lose.
2) It is first come, first serve
My Wife and I love it here, but if you come in the middle of summer, bring your generator. It will be hot as Hades.

Overall Rating
This area is mostly for boat fishing. Shore access is murky and littered. This camp can be noisy with the the air force base just a few miles away and the irrigation pumps. Locals driving through for a stare is common. We would never stay here except for visiting friends nearby.
