“Terrible customer service - don't stay here”

No one was available upon arrival at 2pm. The office was locked. We had a reservation (and had just reconfirmed the day before) and there we no sign telling us what site to park in. A generic sign said to park anywhere and so we did yet we were charged for the larger sites that were unavailable.
This campground is extremely expensive for what you get. Terrible customer service. Hidden charges that they don't tell you about (surprise billing) and unavailability of the owners so we can deal with problems. The employee at the front desk said she had no way to contact the owners and no way to deal with anything.
Their WiFi is extremely slow (and there are only 3 RVs in the entire campground).
We don't even give this campground one star. The owners will not answer their phone nor do they come by the office. They put employees in their office who have no control over anything.
We highly recommend that no one stay at this campground. Bad marks for Nova Scotia camping.

“Clean Campground with a Beautiful View ”

This campground is located just outside of Annapolis Royal right on the Bay of Fundy with beautiful views. We splurged on a premium waterfront site and we're not disappointed. We received two sites, side by side, to accommodate our large fifth wheel. The site aren't deep, so we angled in and managed to fit. The utilities were a little strange, we had an RV next to us using the sewer hookup next to our electric and water, so we had to run the hose under the RV and the sewer hookup was right next to our front steps. Fortunately we thought about it when we were backing in and managed to have the sewer to the side of our steps and almost under the RV.
We were traveling with friends in a class A and they pulled in so that their view would be out their front window, also giving us a shared living space. Since we had two sites each, there is an extra set of utilities that are located between us, but they really weren't in the way.
The best part of this campground is the view, it really is beautiful. While there were sites between us and the Bay, we were higher up and had no problems with the view.
The sites are grass and ours were really level. The campground roads are gravel. We had no trees in our area, but the non waterfront sites had some around. There is a heated pool, which we didn't use. We didn't use the bathhouse either.
There is no cell service here, at all, but they do have wifi and it was usable. The have a laundry open 24 hours, washing machines use dollar coins x2 and dryers use quarters. There is a small store in the office, open until 9pm. The recreation hall is open until 10 pm and swimming pool is open until 8 pm. The showers use quarters, .50 for 6 minutes of hot water. I didn't use any of these, so I can't speak to the conditions, but the pool looked nice and the grounds were very well taken care of.
Just down the road is a seafood store that sells great, fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Their lobster cream roll is delicious, as are their scallops. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
KnKFoster would stay here again
