I booked at 7:30pm, paid online, and the email said if I was arriving after 6 there would be an envelope for me in the black mailbox. I called after booking to confirm, no answer. Arrived at 11:30pm and there was no envelope left for me to check in. I booked the flexible option so I wouldn’t have to pay extra so I didn’t know what site to go to. After a cross country trip, 13 hours, arriving to the camp with no check in information, or anyone who would answer my call I was distraught and in meltdown mode. I ended up walking around until I found a spot that fit the specs I booked and parked there. The next morning, the host still didn’t call to check in or anything. Overall it was a nice campground. But being a campground host myself for over a year, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of support for after hours check ins! You’re right off the highway, do better with communication!!!

Super clean sites with easy online booking and check in for a last minute stay. Nice little playground for the kids and a dog park area. Variety of sites and easy to find off the highway.

I didn't request a "guaranteed" site, but did ask that I be reasonably close to the restrooms. I was originally assigned to a good location, but upon arrival was pushed much further back to a non-level site. The smaller sites are pretty close together. My picnic table area was at such an angle that it was uncomfortable to sit for meals. Also, when I used water from the spigot at my campsite, it was polluted with bits of debris, maybe algae or gunk from the pipes? I opted to get water from the restroom instead, since it was only one night. On a positive note, the bathrooms appear to have been recently remodeled and are quite nice. There is some road noise, but it's not obnoxious. The market has a good selection of meats, cheeses and snacks. I didn't find the price was worth the less than average campsite and would probably look elsewhere in the future.

On Aug 18 2022 I reserved a site and paid $5 extra to guarantee the site — $44.05. I have a confirmation that states “Site # is guaranteed.” On Sept 24 I received a voice mail stating that they could not honor my site and would move me to what I considered to be an undesirable site. I cancelled and requested full refund, as I was prepared to honor my commitment but they were not. I received a refund of $29.05. They charged me the $10 cancellation fee plus did not refund the $5 fee to guarantee the site. Their explanation for why they could not honor the site was “the site is a monthly site and they have no idea how that slipped through the system.” It is an online reservation system that showed the site as available, charged me for it plus the “guarantee” fee and sent confirmation. What crack did that slip through? Okay, whatever, make up whatever story you want, but give me a full refund. Don’t charge me $15 for your mistake

We took the economy, a gravel back-in with deteriorating asphalt for a road, and wild vegetation for grass. For a higher nightly rate, there gravel pull throughs, cemented pull throughs with gravel roads, and for more $$$, you can have a cemented pull thru, with edged lawn and a little bit of brick work. Posted rate is with Good Sam discount, possibly a weekly rate and taxes.

Nice stay at this park. They had a nice pool and the rest of the park was well kept. You have to visit the market place and antique store. I could have spent hours in the antique part. Friendly staff. Some highway noise but not too bad,

It is close to the highway so some spots were probably noisy. Ours was a bit away from the highway so we did not notice it much. There is an adorable pool and cute little playground. As well as, a tiny dog run. There is, also, a nice area set up for horseshoes and corn hole. We were not there long enough to visit the market but it looked cute as well.

We stopped at Owl Creek for the week on our way to Colorado and didn’t really know what to expect but it turned out to be a really nice campground. We were at site 43 which is close to the office/store. The spots were more spacious than most RV parks we’ve stayed at and I really liked that they had the doghouse sort of thing to make the site number and house all the water and electricity hookups. The pool is really nice and a welcome escape from the summer heat. It went up to 8 feet deep which was surprising for an RV park pool but very nice! The store of course was very quaint with all kinds of cheese, wine, etc. Certainly not your run of the mill store for an RV park. There’s also quite a bit around town there as far as restaurants, stores, and even a really nice movie theater that we visited! My wife and I both work remotely and we’re able to work off their Wi-Fi which is really rare but was a nice surprise. We were close to the office so I’m not sure if that had something to do with it or if it was just that strong. We have Verizon and had around 3 bars LTE consistently. The only real mark against this park is that there aren’t any trees hardly and the most the ones they do have are just small so they don’t provide any shade so for us being there in June it was way too hot to be outside unless we were at the pool. Would definitely still recommend it though for a quick stay!
