Cottonwood Recreation Site

We were looking for a place to stay in the general area to break up a long drive. We're self-contained in our 8 metre (25 foot) MH and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in mid-September. There were 4 other RVs on the night we stayed. This is a pleasant, small (14-site) forest service, user maintained, primitive CG. The sites are arrayed on a loop with some on the river with views through the trees. The sites are wide, yet not long, level and dirt. They are tucked into the trees for shade and some privacy. There's no water, dump, trash pick up (pack it out...). There's no cell signal. The host is friendly and helpful. Fee is $15 CDN/$12 USD.
