Overall Rating
Very little maintenance in this campground. The pit toilets have been used for target practice and most have broken windows and broken locks. Most of the picnic tables are rotten and I wouldn't dare sit on any of them for fear of it breaking under the weight of my body. Fire rings are available - if you can find them amongst the 3' tall buffalo grass that dominates the area. And the horse flies, mosquitos and wasps will drive you crazy.
There are plenty of boondocking sites along the road leading to camp and past the camp that would be much better options.
Be careful in the spring/fall if you're towing as the road can be quite muddy past this point.
