I called the park and reserved a spot, wasn't aware that campgrounds don't offer water hookups. This campground is ONLY ELECTRIC with a fill station and dump station at the far side near the exit. Was not told over the phone that it is only electric hookup. Shower house is decent but a good bit from our spot. It's a cute little park and area, but will not be returning due to paying $30 for only electric. I will continue to stick with state or national parks that offer way more accommodations for less per night.

Lake Park is close to Roscoe Village which was a town in the era of the Erie Canal that has been restored to its formal glory. Tours can be taken through the town with its many different shops. You can also take a 45 minute ride in a horse drawn canal boat. The park has a large water park, hiking and bike trails, two play grounds and a golf course. Camp sites are electric only with 30 amp service. Water hydrants are placed throughout camping area. Site 19 was within 125 feet of water hydrant. Bathrooms and shower rooms were very nice, clean, and modern. The park also has baseball fields which can increase the noise level. Camp sites are gravel, back in only with burn ring and picnic table. Nice, clean, and roomy but nothing to get excited about. Firewood sold at office and was best deal we’ve seen in our travels, $5 for a bundle of 10.
