Several years ago I brought my wife and adult son hunting Turkey. There wasn’t any working electrical connections. Arrived late but our spot was there. We slept the first night without any hookups. It was freezing. Campground was scarce few campers. Peaceful environment. Clean. Almost looks deserted except for some long time residences. We had a poodle so when we all went for dinner the dog barked. Hurrying back we decided to take the dog with us instead. To make a long story short I wanted to return but this time without the dog. Making earlier reservations than the last time The lady said what’s my name and checked something out and stated everything is full she’s booked. She lost a respectable client and my business.

This private RV Park is very friendly, clean and nice. Some of the sites are pretty close to each other- but for a night or 3 it was fine. They have full hook ups, clean laundry room, cabins, and a nice little dog park.
We stayed here late September and the elk were rutting and bugling all night long- which we loved! The park wasn't full- maybe 1/2 full during our stay. I think a few folks were long term. We chatted with some people in the park and they were all lovely. This park is a mix of RV Park/campground feel- but there are not a lot of choices in this area. We stumbled upon this place and are glad we did, we really enjoyed our time here. The little town had a couple restaurants that were good, a nice little fishing shop where you could get your license or fishing supplies, and a few gift shops.
We would stay here again if in the area.
