We have been there several times over the past 2-3 years. Great camp hosts, great shower facilities and now they offer propane as well. No issues getting into our spot with our 30' 5th wheel.

They hosts provide propane grills for use and have occasional group fires. It is very quiet. There is a huge dog walking field and an excellent dog washing area that we did not use because we have no dog. The staff shows you to your site and helps you set up if you want. Definitely would stay again if we are in the area.

The family has moved to the NE part of town and we continued at KOA for a while, but thought we should try Cooks RV since it cuts the driving by a lot. Really nice staff, clean and no trains. Some traffic noise, but not bad. The one thing we missed was no off-leash dog park for our two German Shepherds, but Cooks does have a HUGE field for on-leash walking so that was nice. Also liked the price a bit better! The sites are a bit closer than I would prefer, but the same or better than most commercial RV parks. Overall, I would say we will be back multiple times.

Our map app took us in a rather wonky way to get to the campground, but it’s really easy to get to off of the interstate. The owners were very helpful, offering to help us get set up (which we didn’t really need, but was appreciated). The site was gravel, pretty level side to side. Cell service was good, and managed channels available via antenna. There was wi-fi, but we didn’t use it. They will fill LP tanks if asked. The laundry, BR and dog-wash facilities looked fine, but we didn’t use them. We would definitely stay again.

I booked Cook's by looking at Campendium and their nice website. While planning for the route off the Interstate, I started studying the Google Satellite view... and apparently this used to be a different RV park and some.... uh.... not happy looking campers. It also worried me that I couldn't see much from Google Street View. After a quick freak out, I looked on the Facebook page and saw recent pictures and felt a little better.
Anyway, wonderful little RV park. Washer/dryer (less than $2 per load). HUGE shower/bathroom combo. Dog washing sink. And wonderfully level spots. Jennifer was extremely cheerful and greeted us right away and helped me back into the site. I didn't catch the other guy's name, but he was also super friendly.
Not a great spot if you have kids and want a playground or room to run. There are plenty of things to do in town with kids, however. The Bass Pro has an "aquarium" and there's a zoo nearby.

Donny and Jennifer are wonderful people!! They personally escort every trailer to their spot. They’re great hosts at their campground. They bought the place when it was a run down trailer park and have worked to make it the little oasis it is. New and exciting developments have taken place since we arrived in February, they have added 5 more full hookup spots, added a laundry facility, indoor dog washing station, and a shower/bathroom facility for those opting not to use their own. Hands down some of the best people we have run across in our travels. They even will transport those needing a ride to the airport. Now that’s hospitality!!! Will definitely stay here again should our travels bring us back.
