Call a few days before your visit to see if they have any open spots. Very limited office hours due to covid. But we drove here to find out all the FCFS sites are booked for months at a time by pipeline workers. Odds of finding a spot here are very low until they open more sites at the end of May (per camphost).

This is very much not a destination, not pretty, and not directly surrounded by anything desirable. (Antioch is a dump, for now. The new BART line may clean it up.) But, it is probably the cheapest way to park near San Francisco / East Bay.
The main area is a row of very narrow spaces. The back area is reachable from O Street over a bridge (that is impossible to cross with a large rig), or from an unmarked narrow one-lane dirt road directly from 10th St, eastbound only. Back area has a few cramped too short full hook-up back-in spaces, a few "pull throughs" (if nobody is parked behind them) with incredibly awkward shared utilities, one row of water+electric sites, and one row of just electric. All sites are completely unmarked. The non-fhu rows are so close together that the only way to use them meaningfully with anything bigger than a class B is to parallel park against the utilities, so you can't fit many rigs there. The non-fhu area is grass with trees for shade, but the ground climbs toward the trees so we ended up with 3+ inches of blocks stacked under one side of our class A tires.
Locals walk through the back area via a hole in the chain link fence; this includes some homeless crack addicts (they asked us to give them aluminum foil, aka crack pipe material).
The price is $30/day, or $25 with Escapees or Good Sam. No reservations. Credit cards only accepted during weekdays on office hours. Dump station is $10 for non-campers. Rinse water with threads, but the hose leaked badly.
It's in a big city so cell signal is about as good as it gets; I didn't write down how many bars we actually got.
We will camp here again only if we have to bring the RV close to San Francisco, which we hopefully will never have to do again.

“The good: cheap, safe, in town, nice camp host. The bad: sites very close to each other, no picnic tables per site”

Quiet, safe, nice camp host, sites close to each other, like parking lot, most sites taken by traveling tradesmen. Tight for class A. No pull thru. There were class As in the camp however mostly 5th wheels. No picnic tables. Very close to gro stores, Starbucks. $5 off site with most travel club membership.
