Continental Divide Lodge

Arrived before the campground was formally open for the summer season (I.e., 6/1/2019). Called ahead and were told had availability. Went to wrong site after checking-in, but the owner arrived almost immediately and told us that he would just change our assigned site to match where we were. He also delivered a garbage can right to our site. The following day we went to the office to use the internet. Again, the owner appeared and invited us inside even though they were still not open. The owner remained short-handed throughout our stay — summer staff were late arriving — but always was attentive to our needs. Despite a lack of staff, the owner removed the “closed” sign from the highway sign the day before we left. The campground is easily accessible to big rigs — our RV is a 43-foot motorhome — with full utilities (30-amp electric).
