“close to Bend, lots of site options”
Reviewed Aug 19, 2016
We stayed at a site off Conklin Road August 18-19, 2016. There are a few dirt roads off to the right of Conklin when driving in. No camping off to the left, that's the river side.
Once you get to the dirt roads, there are plenty of options, keep driving if the close ones are full. The first turn off of the right is smaller, the second is a pretty bad dirt road, the third is just right.
The dirt is very, very soft and almost silty. There are some spots large enough to let the sun in for solar uses.
We were able to find a nice spot with our 35 foot fifth wheel, but we did maneuver a bit to get around and through some trees. No big deal, just be patient.
We saw large motorhomes further down the dirt road
