“A little off the beaton path, but worth it!”

We were traveling east on I80 and thought we try this state rec area. A bit of a challenge getting here as I133 south is closed due to construction. We eventually found Conestoga Lake State Park after a 30 minute detour.
There are tent only sites ($8.00 per night) and RV/Trailer sites with 30amp and 20amp power ($17 per night). There is also an daily park entrance fee of $6 for state licenced vehicles or $8 for out of state vehicles.
Our site (#22) backed onto a bit of a forest and had lots of room. I would say most of the sites are larger then you usually find in campgrounds.
Conestoga Lake looked a bit dry, but you could still see Herons standing in the shallow water.
There is a dumping station and fresh water is available.
