The winding 25 miles from the west will either be fun or nauseating 🤗, and I had to get out and depth check some of the flooded sections but they weren’t bad (Subaru Crosstrek). This area is beautiful. We arrived on a Thursday and left on Saturday. The views are fantastic and it truly is quiet. We were nervous if our rig would fit so we stayed at the bottom. I'm not 100% sure a trailer longer than 30-35' should attempt going to the upper spots. We contemplated going in through the exit as the turns aren't as tight but we didn't attempt it. The drive up to the campground is beautiful but slow going. We had no cell signal with T-Mobile. This area isn't too far from Pinnacles NP which is worth the drive (I wouldn't do it towing from here). Pinnacles is beautiful and not very well known so it's relatively quiet.

We loved it here. When we decided to get an RV, this is exactly the type of place I had imagined we’d stay. Extremely private and very large spots. Each campsite has a shelter. The gravel drive was large enough for our 33 ft Class A (with a flat-towed Jeep). It’s 26 miles (about a 40 minute drive) to town, and limited to no cell s... more

It’s 26 miles (about a 40 minute drive) to town, and limited to no cell service, but if you’re looking for privacy and to camp in “nature,” this is it.

Then as you wind through the hills you will see many small ranches. The campsite itself has trees, but was very dry in July. We tried to imagine how great it would be in the Springtime here, so that’s why we gave 3 stars.
There is a pit toilet at the top of the hill. The camp sites are accessible via a gravel road.

I have not been there and cannot offer a review. I do want to note what the Clear Creek Management Area and other permits (Serpentine ACSC and Condon Peak ATV) are about: Asbestos. Look into it before going.
