We have stayed here a few times - most recently in December to watch the Christmas Ships. The weather was absolutely horrendous but we still had a wonderful time. This park is very convenient to Portland (where we live) and as such makes for a wonderful quick escape to get away from home. I imagine this would also be a great overnight stay if you're traveling as it's not too far off the highway. We really love this place & will absolutely be back. Sites are pretty close together but there is a wonderful view of the river and all the river has to offer. Staff meet you upon arrival and take you to your spot. All staff interactions were lovely.

Our experience was really good. Restrooms were clean, stocked and a good size. I believe we paid a little extra to make certain we had a back in space to the river. It was worth it. Those sites had some interesting parking features. Each site had a dedicated power pole. At each power pole was 2 sewer discharge pipes and a water outlet for 2 hookups. Our site was wide enough, we could park our truck next to the trailer. Class A and Cs had a choice, pull straight in and have a view out the front window of the river and the passing ships. If they did this, they needed to stretch the power cord to the opposite side you would normally hook up. The water and sewer could be done the normal way. The river was busy but quiet and relaxing, new sod was being laid as well as benches and fire pits down near the water. I would call this more of a destination campground, you would want to stay longer than a few days. We did not use their salt water swimming pool.

We just pulled in and are really disappointed that it looks quite different than what we expected after looking at photos from other reviews and the park website. We are in site 70 and sites (on our side at least) are very tight and there is far more gravel and road than greenery. Looks like two long term residents to our right and one has a sizable amount of belongings piled up outside the rear of their RV.
River banks are dotted with industrial structures so not as picturesque as expected, and lawn adjacent to beach is more yellow and dried than green. The lawn and the beach have a lot of litter (looks like remnants from 4th of July) and lots of small and large pieces of wood that make me second guess bringing the kids out.
Also doesn’t help that the lady at the office was far from welcoming when we checked in. Overall, not a place we feel relaxed in and would not stay here again. Maybe it would feel different in another part of the park. Maybe not.

Great green space and beach for the dogs. There are a number of separate fire pits with a park bench in front of each along the shore. Full hookups are properly placed and functional. The staff was friendly and help guide you to your spot. It’s surprisingly quiet here at night with only the sounds of the river. In the winter, it was clean, no muddy areas nor much puddling. Landscape is either blacktop, gravel, or grass. Our campsite was perfectly level.

Very nice location, right on the Columbia River. Friendly staff, good-sized sites. Convenient off I-5. No road noise. We'll stay here in the future.

The OK: You feel like you are constantly being watched by the owner. He lives in a 2 story house in the middle of the RV park and he is constantly walking around and looking at every site. I am sure there is people that like that but not me. Very windy all the time. Too many full time people living on site. The spaces by the beach are one on top of each other. Very little privacy.

But, it wasn’t until after I paid that I found out that I could not use the sewer. Apparently their one of many rules is that you have to have a completely closed sewer hose. I have a 2020 Winnebago which has a macerator and the macerator hose is three times smaller than a regular sewer hose. Therefore, it’s not a closed system. Its a drop-in.
If you have a macerator hose instead of the normal sewer hose, you are out of luck here. Go somewhere else. But if you don’t mind that inconvenience, its a nice over night spot.

We have stayed here previously and want to do so again. We initially made a reservation, then contacted later about the possibility to change to a Riverview site. We readily agreed. It was a good choice. We had a view out the front of the trailer that was great! You can watch large ships traverse the Columbia River. We watched many people fishing as the salmon was running. Unfortunately, the restrooms and laundry room was closed.
The only negative was one evening someone on the river just to the north fell out of their kayak and was not found. There were a couple of police/fire boats and a Coast Guard helicopter searching.
WiFi was decent, not good enough to stream reliably. AT&T was excellent as the tower is just across the river.

Very efficient reservation and check in systems. It’s quiet also.
