Colors of the Forest RV Resort & Campground

We booked a stay based on ratings, reviews & photos. By chance, we were passing by on another trip & pulled in just to check out the site we booked. Our jaws dropped as soon as we pulled in. 1st-The road is in complete disrepair. 2. We could not find our site bc there are no numbers or any indication which site is which. 3. The place looked like a run down refugee camp with rusted old campers & torn up sites. 4. We have no idea where the bakery or lodge is located even though we drove through the entire campground. 5. The office was closed with a hand written sign stating call this number for help. Called number & no answer or voicemail. 6. Got online to cancel reservation. We received a full refund despite the website stating there would be a $25 fee (the only good thing we can say about this place). We don’t know where the good ratings & reviews came from & very perplexed by this. The website is very misleading. What we saw was certainly not what we expected from the description, reviews & pics on the website.
