Lots of tent camping, and those campsites were nice and private! They had water and electricity too.

The sites are close together & have little privacy … we’ve had that before at other FL State Parks & it never bothered us.
The campsites here are a little disorganized. I think that might have been what I didn’t enjoy. Weird angles, some facing oddly out … packed tight on this corner & a bit more breathing room in another. No grids. No symmetry … I know that sounds odd … but it just made the whole campground feel messy to me.
Bathhouses are new & laundry machines are credit & rarely used. Lots of turnover at this park too

Easy access from Rt 41, check in did not require me to go into the ranger station, got my pass right at the window. Outer loop provides more space but sites are close to San Marco road with loud road noise. I mean extremely loud motorcycles and trucks, all day and some all night, coming from the biker bar on the corner of Rt 41 and San Marco road. If you stay here get a site away from San Marco Rd. Some sites are close together, some are better spaced.
Bathrooms were good, with sign saying closed from 11-12AM, but some days they were still working at 12:30.
No see ums come out at night and go through your RV screens so had to stay closed up at night. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening.
Close to Big Cypress National Preserve, Marco Island is about 20 minutes away. About 5 miles to restaurants and grocery stores in Naples.
AT&T cell service was fair but streamable, 1-2 bars; RSPR -105 boosted to -70. Only 2 HDTV channels came in.

While this park has a nice area to kayak from and is fairly convenient to Naples, the sites in the main campground loop are quite small and do not have any privacy landscaping, so you're right on top of your neighbors. Next time in the area we'd stay in one of the campgrounds in Big Cypress.

The sites were considerably closer than most state parks we have been in, my only reason for 4 stars rather than 5. However clientele were older (very few kids) so was reasonably quiet.
Facilities were kept clean and showers were usually hot. They have some laundry facilities which we utilized - $2.50/wash and $1.75/dry. We appreciated the signage on the three bathroom facilities noting daily cleaning times.
We biked a trail adjacent to the park - Prarie-Hammock (3.5 miles) and hiked another (Flatwoods, 3.3 miles). We also canoed the Blackwater river ($50/4 hrs). - so there is plenty to do there if you are not a beach person. We did go to Marcos Island and walk the beach as well - about a 15 mile drive.

The boat launch area is beautiful and, by far, the nicest part of the campground. The basin is well engineered, and the day/use picnic area is great. From there you can rent kayaks, canoes, and bikes. There are two pavilions for families or groups, and there are a few trails, albeit short, that leave from the launch parking lot.
The campground as a whole is small, so riding bikes and walking was a bit limiting, at least compared to other parks in the Florida State Park system that we've been to. There isn't a lot to do at the park. There is a memorial area with a monument, a mock up of a Seminole Indian village, and an area where they display the crawler/excavator used to create roads/canals in the early part of the 20th century. Other than that, unless you're deep into kayaking, it's an "okay" campground. Under the question, "Would you camp here again", there SHOULD be an option for "maybe", because that's my actual response. If I wanted to visit Naples or Marco Island, I'd stay there. But I wouldn't go there as a destination campground.
Your mileage may vary.

Collier-Seminole is a small state park located close to Naples and Marcos Island. While there is not much to do in the park itself, it is close enough to the beach and downtown Naples that you will stay entertained. The campground itself has some good sites and some terrible sites. Basically stay away from the inner portion of loop B. Most of the sites in the inner loop B are very tight with trees making it even tighter. I've had more room in most commercial parks than I did on site 65. The best sites are 1-19 (loop A) where sites are screened from each other and tend to be quite large. It appears that the bathhouse is new and there is a washer and dryer available. You will catch some road noise in teh campground because the road to Marcos Island cuts along the back side. But its not too bad.

Collier-Seminole is a nice park. We found the bathrooms to be spotless, at all times. The people at the gate were friendly and helpful. Many of the sites are nicely spaced, but I would not stay in our site again. Sites 66, 67 & 68 are so close together. We had to step OVER our neighbor's water lines to get to our picnic table, and their sewer connection (68 is the camp host site) was just outside our back door. The width of our site was listed as 15' online, and I would say that was accurate for the site, not the pad. There are many more nicer, larger, wider sites in the park. I don't know why they are so squeezed in on this short road.
