We arrived around 7pm. Sites are gravel and mostly level. Not crowded with a little road noise.
The only caution is that it's 30amp only and the water hookup is a bit of a distance. Have a 60feet hose handy.
Overall, we stayed one night and it was really nice and clean. Would definitely stay again if I were passing through.

The location of this campground is easy and quick to access from I-94. This campground is a single loop; our site was on the inside of the loop. There is decent space side to side but the site behind is somewhat close. There's no brush or anything between sites so theres no privacy. The water hookup for our site was very far away, possibly 100 feet. It took every piece of hose I had to make the connection. The neighbors on both sides and the camp hose offered hose if I needed it. Our site was sloped to the left 2.25" down. Front to back was fairly level. We had 1 bar of Verizon LTE which was unreliable and there was zero over the air TV channels. The campground had some nice shade, but if you're relying on solar it's not going to be a good option. The road the campground is on is quite loud. The dump station is decent, but like so many there is no garbage at the dump station to throw away gloves or other things. We stayed here while visiting Kalamazoo. I think next time I might try a different campground but if nothing else was available I'd have no problem staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay. I don’t like negative sounding reviews. So to be fair I’m going to list our Pros & Cons and you can decide for yourself.
Pros: Cold Brook is well kept, clean, quiet, easy to find, has small beach area, fishing and disc golf. There’s sites available for both RV & tent campers. Sites are water/electric with a dump site available. The park staff was friendly. The Camp host was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the campground.
Cons: For some sites the water hook-ups are close to 100 feet away. So, you may want to check how far away your water connection is from your site before making your reservation. But you can stop and ask the camp host. The camp host is a great source for information and they have water hoses you can borrow (also pro). But don’t bother asking the park staff. The park staff we spoke to, didn’t know about the water hookups. It’s also a Mosquito habitat. So bring your bug repellent or whatever else you use to ward them off or you’ll be miserable. The Bath House/Restrooms are slightly primitive. But they’re not bad.
After saying all this, we’d gladly go back.

A Kalamazoo County Park, near Battle Creek, and several miles away from the noise of I-94. Firewood is 5 a bundle, sites are spacious, grounds are well kept.
