Easy road in, pretty clean, nice trees to shade the camper. We got the more secluded primitive site in the back bc we figured we can use solar and grab water as we need it. Great place to stop for a night or two!

If it weren't for a far off distant machine noise that was running throughout the night this would be a solid place to overnight. Annoying as I lay here in a pop up with no sound insulation at 4 am Positives are the calm creek that borders the campground. Good spacing between sites and my guess is it's never really busy. If it weren't for a far off distant machine noise that was running throughout the night this would be a solid place to overnight. Annoying as I lay here in a pop up with no sound insulation at 4 am Positives are the calm creek that borders the campground. Good spacing between sites and my guess is it's never really busy. Has toilets (no showers) that were not new but an effort was made to clean and stock them. Play area for kids. Dump site and water available for fills. Campground is relatively flat and I'm level without aids on grassy site. May be soft after rain. Trash in our fire ring. Paid $10 for primitive site. $15 for power . External Noise and general lack of up keep detract from a pretty good county park.
4 miles to the town of Manchester. Which I enjoyed.

This park was empty but so clean and well kept. Lots of shade so weather was beautiful. There’s a really cool creek that runs along one of the sides.
