“Decent dump station”

Reviewed 6/21/2023

Overall Rating

The dump station ($5 fee) is located at the NE corner of the fuel stop complex. It is right in front of a maintenance shed. If you have a long rig and the dump is at the back of the RV, you might need two hoses to hook up. You have to pull all the way forward, almost to the shed to get far enough forward. The area you have to park is sloped away from the dump, causing slow draining of the tanks. When I thought I was empty, I pulled out and checked the tank level. The gray tank still showed 1/3 full on level ground. Other than that, there was plenty of parking in the area. If you are pulling a trailer with a gas pickup, there is a pump at the front of the business on the very south end that you can use. I got blocked in by a local that parked right in front of me and I had to back out of the pumps to get around him.

“Better than a truck stop!”

I drove the 4 miles from Hot Springs for the good fuel prices. Seems new, clean, well staffed, nice folks. Lots of parking (in the unpaved lot on the north side of the diesel fueling area for RVs) and a dump station. I'm sure highway noise and idling semis isn't ideal for a free overnight, but I've seen worse.
