This is a very small park (20 sites), about half of which are right on the water. Some pull-thrus, some back-ins, but the lakeside sites are set so that the side of your rig faces the water, rather than the back—great for sitting under your awning with an unobstructed view. Sites are a few feet above the shoreline with wooden railings. Water-side sites are relatively private, lots of foliage, but the sites in the center are right out in the open. Bring your DEET, there are mosquitoes and very pesky no-see-ums.
Restrooms are old and not overly clean. Sites are level-ish, with the entrances to some sites a definite downslope paved with slippery gravel—we heard some rigs skidding a bit as they were pulling out.
If you’re into fishing or boating, there is a boat launch ramp and a small pier to tie up; our neighbors just pulled their small boat up onto the shore below their site. When we walked out on the pier, we were lucky enough to see an alligator swim slowly towards us, and there are signs recommending that you do NOT go swimming. Checkout time is 4pm, allowing you to really use your last day, though it does mean that if you arrive before 4pm on your first day, you might have to wait for your site.
You have to call to make a reservation, and print out your permit—no printer in the Airstream, but the host was fine with it, so you probably don’t need to bother.
Dog’s perspective: There’s virtually no place to walk unless you just walk the campground loop. The road the campground is located on is very narrow with no shoulder, so even walking along the road can be tricky.

We picked Coe Landing due to being close to Tallahassee, but was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Due to arriving a day earlier than planned, we ended up in site #5, which turned out to be a great thing. #5 is the biggest site in the campground, is a pull-thru and had more than enough room for my truck and my wife's SUV. With a 34' travel trailer that runs 38' from tip to bumper, the turns at the ends of the campground are a little tight, but manageable. It would be really close if there were vehicles parked at the sites, which there were not when we went to leave.
The power is only 30-amps, so I couldn't run my electric heaters AND use electricity for the water heater, but that's a minor gripe. Also, no sewer hookups, so had to drag the 'poop wagon' over to the dump station. Again, a minor gripe, and being able to use campgrounds like this one is precisely what we bought the portable tank for.
Being well outside of the city, Coe Landing is very quiet. We had a mostly open view of the lake from our sliding doors, and with the fantastic weather we had this week, it was a serene, enjoyable place to stay.
The campground WiFi was a pleasant surprise, as many places like this don't offer WiFi at all. It was adequate for my work needs, and I spend a fair amount of time on video calls via Slack. It's certainly not the 50Mbps I get on the fiber at my house, but it was good enough that I didn't find myself scrambling for a Starbucks at all this week. Caveat: the campground was nearly empty the whole time, so if it fills up, I'm sure the WiFi speeds suffer as well.

The campground isn't really a destination park unless you're into fishing or need to be close to the city. It offers a mix of back-in and pull-thru gravel sites with partial hook-up (water & 30 amp electric), picnic table and fire ring. Some waterfront sites, but the view is partially blocked by trees and bushes. Dump Station is easy access as you exit the small campground loop.
We didn't use the bathrooms. My husband took a peek and reported back that they were a bit grungy.
There aren't any walking trails, so the only option was around the campground loop or the road leading up to it.
Our favorite site is #13. It has a nice back-in view of the lake and doesn't get flooded by security lights at night.
The campground has free Wi-Fi (open network) that worked well for us since we were alone in the park - DOWNLOAD: 4.90Mb/s, UPLOAD: 0.53Mb/s
