We used the pull-through sites because we are new to backing up the camper (lol), but those sites also looked relatively easy to access. Was able to easily stream videos using AT&T data/hotspot.

Coe Landing is a county park located on Lake Talquin just 15 minutes from downtown Tallahassee. That makes it a convenient location if you need to get into the city. The campground is a bit older but well taken care of. Because of it's age, some of the sites are a bit tight for large RVs, however all of the sites are well-separated from neighbors. The waterfront sites are wonderful and very private. A few are pull-throughs, though I don't believe a large class A would fit in them. If you are in an RV of 40-feet, you will probably need to take one of the sites in the middle of the camping loop.
Coe Landing is a small park without many activities beyond boating and fishing. There is not a playground, swimming area (alligators present), or hiking and hiking trails. What is nice is that there are boat docks and fishing platforms for the bank fisherman as well as a boat ramp. In addition, there is a boat dock reserved for use by campers. Some of the waterfront sites do have a clear area where you may be able to land a boat. While there are no activities in the park itself, the nearby area has a number of hiking trails and forest roads suitable for mountain biking.

I was going to say that I didn’t think this area would be very big rig friendly due to relatively small sites and a couple of tight curves, but I saw a couple of class a’s one with a towed, so I guess it can be done. Most of the people here seemed to either be hunting or fishing so there was a fair amount of activity before the sun came up.

Sites are a bit tight and watch for tree branches but they were level and gravel. We are 32' and we saw a 34' Tiffin but I wouldn't go any larger. There are some hiking and biking trails in the area but we didn't have time this trip. Bathrooms are old but clean. Overall, a sweet spot!

Coe Landing is a beautiful and well-maintained Leon county campground less than twenty miles from downtown Tallahassee and very close to the airport. Lake Talquin, a part of the Ochlockonee River, is right outside your door. Twenty campsites and at least five or so having lake views. A bit pricey but there isn’t another good campground this close to Tallahassee that offers comparable amenities and comforting views of nature. The public boat ramp offers many docks to fish from and the park is well-maintained. The Fort Braden Lake Talquin State Forest trailhead is also just a couple miles west of Coe Landing off Hwy 20 and offers several miles of hiking and equestrian trails. Day use is only $2 per person and is self-pay.
The showers and restrooms were in better shape than expected for a county park. Beverly saw a couple wolf spiders in the ladies room. They get very big and scary looking. But all in all it was nice to have a hot shower. Not much ground to cover on a bicycle so that is one big negative for me. The proximity to Tallahassee for business, medical reasons, or entertainment events cancels out the negative. There were two bars of AT&T service and streaming on the trailer’s Furrion television worked well with no excessive buffering. Internet and cell coverage were acceptable.
If I were a fisherman this park would be perfect for me to spend several days here camping. But three nights here seems plenty enough to complete what we need to accomplish in town and subsequently also enjoy a little down time relaxing in this pleasant park. The nearby hiking trails are also a big plus for us and there are plenty of options to choose from.

This may be the last good priced campground location before you hit all the hurricane damage west of Tallahassee from hurricane Michael. OMG it is really terrible as it starts with 50% of the trees damaged and then goes to every tree torn down for fifty miles. COE LANDING is good and not affected.

Site 15 on the waterfront, pull thru, easy to maneuver with 60 ft trailer + truck length. We did have to roll over one set of blocks on the street side. Did not check out bathrooms, we used ours. No sewer but for overnight that is just fine. Writing this review with good cell service. Highly recommend from our family and thank you to the Campendium community for letting us plan our peaceful and quiet night with this view at our doorstep.
