It is a nice quiet area to stay with good cell connection. There appear to be trash and portapoties at the campground but I didn't use them. The roads were very passable but it would be difficult to find a site for a bigger rig.

There are some sites along the road near the second entrance north. Nothing for anything big unless you're lucky.

Free spot to stay but so many ticks and big flies that bite. It’s beautiful but got eaten up. It is in the forest but we’ve stayed many places in the forest and didn’t have much a problem with ticks and flies. It’s normal for there to be ticks in the forest, but we sat down on the ground for one minute and had two on me and one in our car that fell off our dog. Different kinds of ticks too. Just be aware of that. There were also a lot of big rig logging trucks that came by hauling off loads of lumber til sunset. There are no longer port a potties but there is trash. No dump station. Quite a bit of low lying trees in some areas so wouldn’t be ideal for bigger rigs. Otherwise it’s a free place to stay.

Appears to be very primitive. Lots of makeshift tents. Might be homeless area. I really don’t know what to think. Will give it a night.

The Osceola National Forest doesn't seem to be doing anything about enforcing their 14 day stay rule. People are living out of make shift camps. (This might be due to Covid) We saw people whom seemed to be living in the forest due to hard times (sad). We also meet a few super friendly retired military campers. We rode around the forest visiting other hunting camps East Tower, West Tower, 17 Mile, Hog Pin and Ocean Pond and other areas incase we return. First Rule, and very important, don't pull your rig into a free camping area without walking in first, ask me how I know :) (no room in "Cobb", but just down the road 100 yards was a small open field on the right. As we drove around the forest we found others who just found spots and pulled off the road and set up camp. If/when we return we will likely do the same thing. If you're in the area visiting make a stop at Olustee Battlefield State Park, we didn't know a Civil war battle was fought in Florida (learned something new). All in all we had a great 2 day stay.

As a free campsite it was fine but as a pay site not so good they need to update it if they want to charge for it

There were some very clean ports-potties (though I think they are only there during hunting season.) The generators from the RVs are a bit loud but otherwise a quiet place with a surprising amount of privacy given how many people are here.

Nice wooded hunt camp. Not much to add to previous Everly that during hunting season the place was packed with empty campers. But still quiet and nice.

We stayed here two nights, a Thursday and Friday night. The location was fairly easy to find, but we were thrown off by the "scout camping" sign and not sure if we could camp there so we turned into the next road instead and found a nice spot with a picnic table. There was a single vault toilet near the entrance (we didn't see the porta potties shown in some of the photos) as well as bear proof garbage containers. There was only one other person anywhere near us, but far enough away that she couldn't hear our inverter generator when we ran it.
I walked along the trails around the small ponds and noticed what looked like tent sites, but none were currently in use. I saw lots of dragonflies, large frogs, and some deer droppings. At sunset, were glad we had brought a screen tent so we could sit outside to cook and eat despite the abundance of flying insects. They were attracted to our lantern and some were impressive in size. It was very quiet and dark at night and we could see the stars through the tops of the pine trees, which was wonderful. The second evening, a large group of scouts arrived so we were glad we had stayed out of their area. Once they had settled in, we did not hear them anymore.
It probably gets busier on the weekends, but there are plenty of spots to choose from (no marked sites) although not many picnic tables. No fire rings either, but you could see where people had built fires. The area was mostly free of litter, but the vault toilet was quite disgusting. Cell phone service was okay. I would and probably will stay here again.

We stayed in a BLM for 14 days! Goal achieved. We haven’t been able to stay in one place very long. Not sure why, it just never works out. It feels like we’re always on the move, plans to go somewhere...
