“This certainly isn't a resort, but "hot mess" might be a tad harsh...”

I've stayed in worse for more money. Yes, there are a fair number of longer-term tenants here and yes some of the trailers have seen better days. And yes, some of the hookups are a bit deranged. My sewer cover consisted of a Walmart bag held down by rocks. Hey, at least it was covered!!! Some sites have remnants of prior tenants. But since this is the only game in town, it'll do fine for a night. The best access is from S Choctaw Street, right off of 322 (S State Street). There is a small shed at the drive leading to all the paved campsites with phone numbers, envelopes, and instructions. I called Travis - he was pleasant. I filled out the envelope and placed it in the tube. OH, there is no turnaround at the end of the road - I had to unload my car and dolly to get out. The grounds seemed reasonably cared for and there is a small lake. A few tenants wandered by and waved. There is adequate lighting at night with lots of space to walk the dog. Walmart is a mile away and downtown is 1.5 miles away. AT&T was 20 down and 9 up, T-Mobile 6 down and 8 up (yes!).

Hundreds of spaces, but limited to a row of somewhat derelict trailers by management. Dump station closed, single commode with no toilet paper. This place was a hot mess.
