Campandium reviews said the fee was $40. That's reasonable. We looked at other reviews and saw lots of inconsistencies. .. Wifi doesn't work, bathrooms closed because of covid. And no RVs older than 10 years. What, you're gonna check my registration? (Besides, our full-functional 2000 Roadtrek works just fine, thanks) But okay,... more

But okay, maybe the reviews weren't accurate.
We called and the woman said, let me check the "dynamic pricing" schedule. Here it is.. . $87.72, plus tax. Geez... And someone paid $40...
Well, flip you, we'll stay at the nearby Forest Service campground for $10 with our golden pass.

Great location for visiting Truckee and Lake Tahoe. Walking path right outside campground. Only downside is the sap…it’s all over the roof of our rig.

Stayed here a few nights in March 2021. After checking in I realized that the bathrooms were closed “due to covid” even though there were literally NO restrictions on bathrooms being open for Their county at the time- so I searched high and low on their website to see if I had missed that detail but they didn’t mention it anywhere. They did make sure to note that “any missing amenities would not warrant a refund of any kind” so that’s lovely. Spots are close together but we hardly saw anyone outside of their campers. They also have a “strict rule” of only certified RVs 10 years old or newer, yet they had tons of fancy sprinter conversions and also had several RVs and truck campers that were well over 10 years old.
The last morning we were there the bathrooms were supposed to open, yet they didn’t open “because they needed a deep cleaning because of covid”- after sitting empty for a year? Ok. And when my husband went to mention it to management and try to figure out how that made sense, she became extremely rude and snapped with “well you shouldn’t be here anyway” referring to our 9 year old fully renovated bus conversion that IS registered and insured as an RV and is in much better shape than many of the RVs in there. Wouldn’t recommend it if you can find any other spots.
Oh, they also claim to provide WiFi but that was a joke. We were close to the office and still couldn’t even load a page.

The not so good: they say they have wifi but they really don't. What coverage there is basically amounts to dial-up speed. It was basically useless for just about anything and it didn't really work at our particular site at all. They said it wasn't meant for video meetings and such but I couldn't even check email. The campground is also noisy - tons of nearby road noise from both local roads and I-80. Plus SUPER expensive.

This park gets booked up, so that speaks for itself as far as popularity. You can reserve online and there is a 10% discount for Good Sam or AAA membership. We have a 44ft 5th wheel and we’re worried about pulling in and out easily. The wonderful lady that checked is in changed our site to make it even easier on us. Now that is a lady who knows her RV Park and knows what she is doing. Everyone was so nice definitely will be going back

We set-up here for two weeks to access the local ski areas (30 min drive). Site was level and has enough space on one side. Had a neighboring travel trailer pull into site next to us, which gave only two feet on that side; kinda close. Bathrooms and showers are excellent. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

This rv park booked us on their site that was under construction and cancelled on us because the site was not done. We were at Yosemite when they cancelled on us days before our stay with them because they overbooked us for a site not finished. We booked over 2 months before. They emailed their cancellation without at least a courtesy call. We were booked for a week, so we are now scrambling for a place to stay .
Will never recommend or give our business.
