Overall Rating
No host, no gatekeeper, only one other car “camper”. Half the sites are taped off with yellow “do not enter l” tape. Only one bathroom open. Did not use or enter so can’t speak to condition. Looks like they’ve sold off previous camping sites beyond the current section for private development?

Wooded and pretty campground with somewhat dated but adequate sites. A little run down...Quiet .... The bathroom was creepy with over a thousand Greenhouse Millipedes scurrying about. Surroundings and wooded areas are nice with concrete picnic tables. Cell service was abysmal.....one bar to none, but could just be site 35 is bad for a... more

My $10 payment was due to 50% off membership card so true price would be $20 for most people without discount... still a good deal for a decent campground. Had a tough time getting here due to detours for roadwork which hopefully won't be an issue when they are done.

After searching for a place along my route this place was one of the few open campgrounds for February along Lake Sardis. Very quiet not all electrical sites work so you have to plug-in and see which ones do. Bathhouse warm and clean. I’d be interested to see if they get filled up around here in the summer. After searching for a place along my route this place was one of the few open campgrounds for February along Lake Sardis. Very quiet not all electrical sites work so you have to plug-in and see which ones do. Bathhouse warm and clean. I’d be interested to see if they get filled up around here in the summer. It’s a beautiful area and they have a really nice mountain bike path.

Oak Grove offers 81 campsites with 50 amp electric and water hookups. There are a few sites in the campground with sewer hookups, please check site descriptions to find these sites. There are three restroom/shower buildings located in the campground as well as a playground and a boat dock with convenient access to the lower lake.
