Overall Rating
Be warned— if you are towing anything, you will NOT make it up this road. The logging trucks may do it but leave it to them! Overheated and a blown transmission later, we are stranded on a mountain with no service for miles. And that is with a very well taken care of 454 Chevy.

wish i was staying for longer—would have made the long bumpy drive more worthwhile. did the drive in a sprinter van. larger vehicles could make it if you’re confident & comfortable (the big logging trucks are doing it) but it’s a long, slow, bumpy wind. could be a different story in the wet.
campsite was silent and dark. only ones here (in late Nov.). nice little creek, dense forest so don’t expect much sun. pit toilets, fire rings. even a concrete pad for a level spot (22’ and not sure if every site has this...)
