We camped over Thanksgiving week at site 15. Water and electric (30 amps). The views are spectacular especially this time of year. Warning, however: there are no extra amenities—composting outhouse toilets and a questionable shower station near the entrance. There also are no hiking trails. The lake was very low this time of year so the boat ramp was closed. Kayaking would be an option though, as you can launch straight from your site. The park is extremely quiet (we were only 1 of 4 RVs out of 10 total sites). We didn’t find a dump station even though the park map online states it’s near the entrance. Also, just go straight to your site, there is no check-in/visitor center. If you’re looking for a pseudo-boondocking experiencing, this is it.

We were here through Thanksgiving and there were only 2 or 3 other campers. The sites are a little narrow for large rigs, so we backed into ours (site 10). We were scheduled for #9, but, the camp host was there when we arrived and could see the possible problems with the entrance of the site. There are almost no bad spots in the entire campground. The site is dirt, but, pretty level. There are loads of trees on every site, but, it provides more seclusion. Another good drive through site is 14. Sites 2 - 7 are all paved and easy to access, but, have no hookups. Site 1 was occupied and had electric, but, not on the lake. There is a nice parking area for boaters between #2 and #3. The showers / restrooms are fine, but, it was a little chilly in there because, the windows have plastic over them, otherwise they had good hot water and were reasonably clean. The host is super nice and helpful.

It’s an odd little spot but I like it, mostly. Site isn’t worth the $31.50 I paid.
I arrived and there was no one to check me in, which, again for $20 would have been fine. Site is maintained but nothing exceptional. Very close to site 8 (which is a slightly better site in my opinion).
Water access is nice.
I’m good about cleaning the RV at least once a week including a good mopping and such but I’m basically parked on top of several ant hills which I didn’t notice until 4 am when I woke up to the cats freaking out (cats like ants and they freaked out in happiness) because of a bunch of ants. Killed them and laid some cornmeal down. Plan to do a thorough cleaning at my next stop again and buying some comet but man ants can really kill a good vibe.

This is a great little place. All of the sites are on the water. From most you can launch a kayak or paddle board. There is also a boat launch. Sites 1-7 are non electric and $15 per night with picnic table, fire ring and grill. They are all spaced way apart and you cannot see your neighbors. Sites 8-17 are $25 with water and electric. They are closer together. There was some AT&T service here. The bathrooms were dirty but not scary. They had hot water and good water pressure. The dump station was located in the area for sites 5-7. The area was full for the weekend and very quite during the week.
