“dog feces and mosquitoes”

Overall Rating

I had to clean up campsite shoveling out a bucket of fresh dog crap left by irresponsible filthy idiot who let the dog crap all over for multiple days without cleanup, which is illegal and disrespectful of public property. Flies infested the campsite landing on everything, on food and it smelled like a toilet in the sun, large amounts of dog crap were everywhere. They should require a license to own a dog. The camp is very scenic, it is on a small river and near a small grove of huge old cedars. However, mosquitoes had been horrendous to the point it's not possible to enjoy a campsite or eat in it, even my car got so filled by mosquitoes that they kept biting me for a long time after I drove out to town. Other camps in the general area have no mosquitoes. This place being humid and having lots of marshy grasses by the river is where they are in unusual numbers. It's good for overnight sleepover if you have a van or truck camper and don't plan to spend time outside, though you might be enjoying the smell of massive dog toilet left by a trashy person.
