The park itself is not much. Gravel lot with sites side by side. Over half the sites are a few feet from the lake. Great access to the small town (3 basic restaurants/bars), a small marina and town park. Great paved bike trail accessible from campground. Good kayaking location as well. Currently the park is water and electric only (30/20 amp) with a dump station accessible as you enter (not exit) the park. They will be closing the park in September 2018 for renovations, but don’t know what that means. Not recommended for big rigs. We came in a 45’ MH, but only because it was early in the season before the park was crowded and little traffic in the area. If over 32-35’, I would suggest making use of google earth when reserving your site and being comfortable driving some narrow twisting highways. Also be aware that there is a relatively steep slope from Hwy 97 down to the park. Fortunately I could raise my air suspension on th MH, or I probably would have scrapped. You exit a different route, and if leaving south on 97, it’s a sharp (75-80 degree) uphill right hand turn to a 2 lane highway with ditches on each side. I’d suggest you scout your exit if in a large rig. Love the area, but not great options for big rigs.

The town of Harrison is a pretty small place, which means that if you're staying here, it's like the whole town is your RV park. There's a nice city park with playground, a bar, ice cream shop, grocery, even a bike shop, all within a couple blocks. You can park your rig just a few short feet from Lake Coeur d'Alene, which leads to great views.
An added bonus is that the epic Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike trail comes right through here, so from here you can hop on your bike and explore some great Idaho scenery and small towns without breaking much of a sweat.
No separation between rigs or privacy or much shade here. You're here for the location and the ambiance of this cool little town.
