Citizen's Lake Campground

Despite the Highway right next to the campground, this park is fairly quiet. The campground host gave us a folder to keep which included not just the rules, but also a greeting from the mayor, a long list of restaurants and other local things to do, plus a quick survey of how well the campground is doing. The shower house is a bit rustic and you will need to make a deposit to get the keys for it. Still, the city takes pride in the park, and they are clearly trying to make sure that the park is held to at least a good standard. For example, the shower house was clean and they restrict each camper to 30 minutes use so that all campers can use the facility (there must be a good story behind that rule-I would love to know what it was…). Still, we would gladly return to this campground. It seems to be nearly full the entire time we were here.
