“Gorgeous; camp spots are tight to get into”

Overall Rating

Eagle’s Nest and Cimarron are quite close to each other, and honestly, having driven past Eagle’s Nest on the way, it’s not even a contest. Eagle was just a big puddle of water with no shade or trees or beauty around it. Since they’re equal in all other respects (internet access, lack of hookups, etc) I see no reason to choose Eagle. “Peaceful beauty by pond ”

Overall Rating

Camp host greeted us as we came in and placed us in a site. Maverick campground is an easy walk to fishing and just great scenery. Look forward to visiting again!

“Great Campground for Small to Midsized Rigs”

We're in the midst of a very fast trip from Forest City, Iowa to the Phoenix area but had pushed hard enough to take the slow road through northen New Mexico.
