Chumstick Mountain Dispersed Camping

Got here midafternoon and we were treated to a jaw-dropping sunset over the Cascades. The wind comes thru the valley pretty strong as it cools down at night, so tie down rain flies tight so it won't keep you up. Nothing blew over, it was just pretty blustery. There is a natural windbreak from a small line of trees you can take advantage of. Intermittent cell signal for most of the area, so make sure you have your route mapped out before getting up here.

Definitely need 4x4 to get here on the approach from Cashmere. It was pretty rutty but passable without anything too technical. The approach from Ardenvoir you could easily do with AWD with high clearance (at time of review 8/20).
